 A rambling
country estate, the Richmond Inn is Spruce Pine's premiere bed and breakfast facility.
Located in a scenic mountain setting, the half-century old Inn is shaded by towering white
pines and landscaped with native dogwood trees, mountain laurel and rhododendron. The
tranquil surroundings belie the fact that the quaint little town of Spruce Pine is within
three blocks of the Inn. The terrace of the Richmond Inn overlooks the valley of the North
Toe River. Four miles beyond the river valley is the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains,
crowned by the Blue Ridge Parkway.
